‘Desert Dust’ 2021
The series of works combines dust, soil, acrylic paint and pastel on canvas, resembling desert heat atmosphere. Inspired by dust storms of Northern Sudan regions, the paintings draw elements of geographic maps of real spaces, cultural symbols and shapes of mountain rocks, in an imaginary composition.
